LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The version of "Misty Mountain Hop" Robert Plant does on tour these days is not the version you know. In fact, none of his older songs sound like they do on the records. Plant says he wants to make them feel like they are "crawling out of the swamp, not coming out of the bordello." He calls it another opportunity to "get further and further out into the world of beautiful music." Patty Griffin is part of his touring band, and he says their voices blend so well it's "like the Andrews Sisters on acid."
