105.5 the River Colts Corner
6/8/2010
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A woman accused of making about $93,000 in purchases on a debit card owned by Colts receiver Reggie Wayne has surrendered.
Indianapolis police say 26-year-old Natasha McKenzie surrendered Monday to face theft and fraud charges. The Associated Press hasn't learned if she has a lawyer.
McKenzie told WXIN-TV that Wayne knew of the purchases, mainly made online.
A police report filed in April says Wayne told investigators an ex-girlfriend may have used his debit card number, though he didn't know how she got it. Wayne complained of more than 300 charges for items including hotels, flights, clothing and cruises.
Wayne has been to four Pro Bowls with the Colts and ranks second on the team's career list for receptions with 676 and yards receiving with 9,393.
