Colts Undefeated Season

Well, the Colts are still undefeated on the season. There have been several close games, many of them we were trailing in the 4th quarter, but still managed to win. But, will the Colts finish the regular season 16-0? I don't think so, and here's why. Coach Caldwell is much like Tony Dungy in many ways. As long as home field advantage was secured, Dungy's policy was to rest his starters going into the playoffs. Caldwell will most likely do the same thing. Some people will want the starters to play, others will believe resting the starters is the way to go. Those who want the starters to play would probably change their tune if Peyton Manning got injured in a meaningless game 16. Caldwell also recently said that an undefeated season was never their goal, but rather, winning the Superbowl is what they set out to do. We'll see what the next few weeks bring. A 16-0 season would be great, but it's pretty meaningless without the Lombardi Trophy to go along with it.
