Hi. Welcome to my page. Here's my obligatory bio from the beginning: I'm about halfway through my 30s, so counting back…I was born in NoCal but don't remember much of it because my family moved to a suburb of NYC pretty early on. That's where I pretty much grew up while dreaming of getting into radio. Oh man. Some of the greatest radio stations on Earth came out of NYC. WABC. WNBC. WNEW. The guys on those stations were my heroes. And I credit them for introducing me to Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Stones and so on. And then of course, I watched WKRP in Cincinnati religiously.
When I was in high school we moved to Lexington, KY. I finished high school and then went to Indiana University. Took forever to graduate, due in part to working at the student-run radio station, WIUS. I got a gig at a local commercial station there in Bloomington and stayed for a while after graduation. Bounced up to Indy for a bit and worked a part-time radio shift. I even had a weird job where I listened to tapes of radio stations from other cities to find out what commercials they played. Radio geek! Then I landed in good ol' Terrible Haute to jump in The River. Got married. Bought a house. Dog. Cats. Kids.
There's my life in two paragraphs. Oh sure, I left out some stuff. But, most of that stuff remains classified…
