We Need Your Help!

We feel we are very important to this community. THHS helps not only Terre Haute but all of Vigo county. We are the only animal shelter in Vigo county who takes in strays and unhealthy animals. There are other shelters within our community who take in healthy, owner relinquish animals only.
Other ways you can help is through
**grant writing for the shelter.
**find out if your business matches volunteer hours with money.
**have supply drives at your place of employment. Supplies can be, cleaning supplies, office supplies, newspapers, shredded paper, we provide food to people in the community who can’t afford food for their animals.
**be an active volunteer…
**get involved politically. Help us to get stricter animal abuse and neglect laws and fines. Help us to get on the actual budget of the city and state. There are counties in Indiana who are totally funded by their local government.
